A group of local citizens has been working with he school district since December 2004 to find ways to enhance the driver education program at Ephrata Area School District (EASD) and help lower the rate of accidents among teenage drivers. EASD is currently in the bidding process to purchase seven driving simulators for classroom use in the fall.</description>

Year-to-date earnings per share increased from $1.14 in 2004 to $1.18 in 2005.</description>
