EPHRATA -

Douglas W. Jordan, 53, of Ephrata, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 8, 2008.

He was born in Pueblo, Colorado, a son of the late Elmer and Geraldine "Gerry" Vay Jordan. He was the husband of Sue Smith Jordan.

He was a member of the Evangel Assembly of God Church of Ephrata where he played the drums on the worship team, was a Dallas Cowboys fan and enjoyed aquariums.

Surviving besides his wife are a son, Josh, husband of Deana DiGiacomo Good of Lancaster; two brothers, Jim Jordan of Missouri and Chuck Jordan of Colorado; and two sisters, Margaret, wife of Dave Modlin of Missouri, and Ann, wife of Craig Davidson of New Mexico.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 14, at 10 a.m. at the Assembly of God Church, 939 Linden Rd., Ephrata with Rev. Kevin Sylvester officiating.
