EPHRATA - Grace Evangelical Congregational Church of Ephrata will be holding it's
third annual Family Fun Day on Saturday, May 17 from 10 a.m.-2
p.m.
Each ticket is only 25 cents and each game is one ticket. There
will be a dunk tank, spin art, pick-up ducks (for ages 6 and under), bean
bag toss, Alien Invasion, Froggy Fly Flinger, balloon darts, lollipop ring
toss, and the potty toss. Earn prize tickets at the games and spend them
for fun prizes.
Hamburgers, hotdogs, slushies and sodas will be
available for two tickets– or 50 cents–and homemade baked goods
for one ticket each.
Come and see Cinder the clown along with his
fire truck and firefighter friends. Also come down and get to see a police
cruiser up close and personal.
The Highland After School
Program(HAP) will be hosting a toy sale. The proceeds from this toy sale
will help purchase goody bags that Joe Toy hands out during his Bible clubs
for inner city Philadelphia children. The goody bags consist of tie dye
bag, decorated paper pad, pen or pencil, gospel book mark, hacky sack ball
and small snacks. Last year the toy sale yielded enough profit to send
three Indian children to camp and to make items to use with the Indian kids
in Bible camps.
This event is not meant to be a fundraiser, but an
outreach effort. The church is located on 131 Terrace Avenue across from
Highland Elementary School and Science Press. The Family Fun Day will be
held rain or shine. For further information, call 733-7110.
