E-business team places first at FBLA conference

DENVER - The Cocalico FBLA e-business team, comprised of Matt Carty, Zachary Gosling
and Andrew Prevoznik, recently brought home a state championship, as they
competed in and placed first in the e-business event at the 57th annual
Pennsylvania FBLA Leadership Conference, held at the Hershey Lodge &
Convention Center.
Their first win has qualified them to represent
Cocalico High School at the national level as they attend and compete in
the e-business event at this year's FBLA National Leadership Conference,
which is being held in Atlanta, Ga. on June 26-30.
The e-business
competitive event recognizes FBLA members who have developed proficiency in
the creation of Web commerce sites. Each year, the students are given a
topic to use as their guide for creating their commerce site. This year's
topic was to create an e-business Web site where all members and chapters
from the state attending the National Leadership Conference in Atlanta, can
purchase t-shirts for the conference. the site needed to include choices of
at least three styles of shirts from sizes XS to XXL and should motivate
members to purchase t-shirts. For more information on their winning
