Award-winning author to speak at NH Nazarene

NEW HOLLAND - "Making Good Marriages Great," a live simulcast featuring author Gary
Smalley, will be hosted at New Holland Church of the Nazarene, 428 Ranck
Road, New Holland, on Saturday, April 26, from 9 a.m.- 4 p.m. Couples who
attend will receive practical tips for making their marriages stronger from
the country's foremost marriage experts live via satellite on
CCN.
Featuring renowned speakers Dr. Gary Smalley, Erwin and Kim
McManus, Dr. Henry Cloud, and Dr. Les Parrott, Couples conference 2008 will
give couples the keys to building a foundation of trust: a caring, secure
relationship where each partner serves the other with love and
faithfulness.
Keynote speaker Dr. Gary Smalley, an expert on family
relationships and an award-winning author, has written or co-written more
than 50 books, based on more than 35 years of experience as a teacher and
counselor. Smalley has appeared on hundreds of local and national radio and
television shows, including Oprah, Larry King Live, Fox & Friends, and
NBC's Today.
Author and pastor Erwin McManus and his wife, Kim, lead
Mosaic Church in Los Angeles, known worldwide for its spiritual creativity
and cosmopolitan diversity. Dr. Henry Cloud is a clinical psychologist,
national radio host, and award-winning author known best for the
million-seller "Boundaries." Dr. Les Parrott, founder of the Center for
Relationship Development on the campus of Seattle Pacific University, is
also a best-selling author and national radio host.
Conference
topics will include "Loving from the Heart" and "Loving with
Integrity."
New Holland Church of the Nazarene, Day Seven
Ministries, Family Resource and Counseling Center, and Crossroads
Counseling Center will host this event. A cost of $40 per couple will
include teaching, lunch, and a special appearance by local Christian
leaders Jonas and Ann Beiler. Ann will hold a book signing for her recent
