Herbert and Doris Hartman celebrate 50th Anniversary
EPHRATA, PA
- Herbert and Doris Hartman, 840 Martin Avenue, Ephrata, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on February 19, while in Florida. There was a surprise party given by their family at the Ephrata VFW, Post #3376, this past October.
They were married February 19, 1955, at the Trinity Lutheran Church, Ephrata, by the Rev. Myron Eichner.

Charles and Mary Alice Garrett celebrate 50th anniversary
EPHRATA, PA
- Charles R. Jr. and Mary Alice Garrett of 721 N. Maple St., Ephrata, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary with a banquet at the Restaurant at Doneckers on Saturday, March 26. They were married on March 26, 1955 at Nouasseur Air Force Base, Morocco.
Charles practiced as a dentist in Ephrata for 41 years and retired in 1998. Previous to that he served as a dentist in the Air Force for two years and was stationed at Nouasseur Air Force Base, Morocco. He is a retired life member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association and the Lancaster County Dental Society.

- Alicia Lynn Trego, Barry Lane, Newmanstown, and S. Trevor Gochnauer, Esbenshade Drive, Lititz, were married recently at Crossroads Community Fellowship with Pastor Kyle Buckwalter officiating.
Parents of the couple are Lonnie and Marilyn Trego, Newmanstown, and Steve and Debra Gochnauer, Lititz.
