Resident celebrates 100th birthday

On Jan. 15, members of the Horizons Senior Center surprised local resident, Naomi Travis on her 100th birthday. Travis's granddaughter, who lives in Florida, could not make the trip for the monumental birthday so she asked the Senior Center to celebrate in her honor. Marysue Ruth, center manager, took a few members over to Travis's house for a mid-morning celebration.
