Robert Buch, 89, WWII veteran, Hajoca sales rep
Robert R. "Bob" Buch, 89, of Ephrata, died Monday, Oct. 1, 2012 in Denver Health & Rehabilitation Center, Stevens.
Born in Brownstown, he was a son of the late Jacob W. and Annie M. (Buchter) Buch. His wife, Margaret D. "Peg" (Moore) Buch, died June 28, 2003.
A World War II Army veteran, he was a German prisoner of war. Bob was a sales representative with Hajoca, Lancaster, for 45 years. An avid Phillies fan, he was a member of the Ephrata American Legion, VFW and BPOE 1933, enjoyed yard work and loved dogs.
Surviving are daughters: Theresa A., wife of Warren Specht, and Stasia J., wife of Scott Weiler, both of Ephrata; grandchildren: Robert, husband of Joan Adams; Jarrod, husband of Carrie Specht; and Amanda, wife of Duane Bradbury; and great-grandchildren: Brittany, Collin and Rachael.
He was predeceased by a brother: Jacob W. Buch Jr.
A memorial celebration of Bob’s life was held Oct. 5 from Good Funeral Home & Cremation Centre, Reamstown, with Chaplain Don Kreider officiating.
