The Denver Fair is right around the corner — Sept. 11 through 15. The fair committee is looking for those who may not want to attend meetings but would still like to volunteer.

Helpers are needed for the following: Rec Center setup the evening of Sept. 6; tent and office setup the evening of Sept. 7; fairground setup the evening of Sept. 8 or early afternoon on Sept. 9; teardown on Sept. 15 or 16 after noon; or trash pickup/cleanup at 10 p.m. any night during the week of the fair.

Volunteers will have fun meeting others, enjoying the behind the scenes of the fair and just helping the local community without having to attend meetings and paying dues.
