The Cocalico Leo Club will host the a Doggie 5K Run/Walk May 21 at 8:30 a.m. The club is hosting, for the first time, the event. The 5K run/walk is special because all proceeds will go directly to Delaware Valley Golden Retriever Rescue. Also, any participant may bring a leashed dog to participate in the event. The course will weave through farmland in the Cocalico region. Registration will start at 8 a.m. at St. John’s U.C.C., located at 659 S. Fourth St. in Denver.
